CRITIQUES:
The preface is very raw, as are the poems. I liked every single one. It’s almost as if I were sitting and chatting with a friend, but she was replying in poems.

Yes, it does stir emotions
Review: Lost leaves of life and love – Aiswarya R Mohan
The thumb rule of every poem is to evoke emotions in one mind, once after a moment the verses or lines are read.
Yes, “Lost Leaves of Life and Love” written by Aiswarya R Mohan does evoke emotions. Her words don’t stop, stirring emotions, they bring memories of the past and resonate with the words.
“I love little things in life
It’s what makes life so precious.”
– Things that I love
These two lines are from a long poem. The idea is simple and words are compact enough to fit to stir our emotions. From the preface the poet maintains a rawness throughout the text, it’s a plus point. The poems are simple, beautiful, relatable, and expressive making readers understand themes in a beautiful manner.
My picks: lost & Found; masked man ( this piece is beautiful); love? ; Nostalgia; eternity; snooze; scars; and hopelessly in love.
In conclusion, “Lost Leaves of Life and Love” is an anthology of sentimental poems that everybody can enjoy. It touches on a variety of topics and serves as a reminder of the value of support, the strength of ties, and the little pleasures in life.

This is a short book of poetry that you can turn to as a respite in moments of stress. The poems are easy to interpret and will resonate with almost everyone.
The preface is very raw, as are the poems. I liked every single one. It’s almost as if I were sitting and chatting with a friend, but she was replying in poems.
Some of the notable ones are Kindness, Lost Leaf, Survival, Snooze, Eternity, and Leaves.
I like the idea of the Sun taking a mental health break expressed in “Unbreakable Bond.” I share her views on “Things that I love.” Shadow is another good one; I’d never have thought of that.
There are also poems that talk about living in a fearful state. Shutdown and Fear-Zoned are two of them.
Lost Love is tragic. It talks about being the partner of someone in the military.
Overall, it’s a good collection. If you like poetry, give it a try.
